Feminine energy works in cycles, where as masculine energy is linear. Guess which energy the world runs on? The Monday through Friday, 9-5, same every week, masculine energy can be extremely draining for women because we need time to recharge, and can do so much more on some days and not so much on others. It causes many issues with women, from feeling like you just can't keep up, to physical symptoms within your cycle. We will discuss the different phases of the cycle, what each phase means and how it effects your energy and emotions. Each phase has specific energies, and we will go into each and what it means for you, and how you can work with your cycle to make the most ofyour life. What has been thought of as a curse is actually a great power source of wisdom and strength. We have a physical and energetic cycle that we can take advantage of every single month. Not only will we learn about the phases and what they mean for you, we will discuss charting and how you can keep track so you know where you are and where you will be, so you know not to plan that trip or give that speech when you are on Day 1. We will also discuss self-care and different menstrual products. Join us as we take an in depth look at the menstrual cycle! If you are not currently menstruating or on the pill, you can still work with these energies by following the cycle of the moon.

Are you struggling with body image? Does your body give you trouble with painful periods, infertility, low sex drive, chronic illness, or other problems? Whether this is a recent issue due to life changes or a struggle for as long as you can remember, please join me as we look at how culture has ruined your relationship with your body. When you came into this world, you appreciated your body for what it could do, how it could move and dance and eat. You didn't hate your body, so what happened? Why does it feel like a weight and a constant difficulty? We will explore images of women in our culture, media representations, and how we have internalized them. We will also employ some tools to help fight the negative self talk and improve love and self care, with a brief overview of the menstrual cycle and how understanding that can shine light on how we feel, physically and emotionally.
Feminine Movement No Current Dates Scheduled
Come move your body and have some fun! This class is for every body, and will explore feminine movement and tapping into our feminine energy through exotic dance. Find your sensual woman through fun movement to connect to your body. No experience necessary. We will be learning to move our bodies in sensual and feminine ways, based in belly dance and burlesque. We will start with some warm up stretches, learn some sensual dance moves, and end with a meditation. Wear comfortable clothes, yoga pants or leggings, and please bring a yoga mat if you have one. Limit 6 registrants due to space restrictions.
