Women's Intro to Pelvic Floor Care
with Kari Craig

February 21, 2019 at 6PM

Squeezing your knees so you don’t pee when you sneeze?! Then join us as Kari addresses the most common pelvic floor issues women face over the years including but not limited to incontinence, pain with intercourse, musculoskeletal pain. She will also discuss things like safety for return to exercise and sport and postpartum body mechanics if time allows.
Kari graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2012 from Chatham University. Since graduating she has worked at AGM Physical Therapy, a small private practice in Mentor, Ohio. Since graduating P.T. school she has always had an interest in pelvic health physical therapy, also known as women’s health physical therapy. It wasn’t until her first pregnancy that she got the push to begin her specialty training in this subset of P.T. Over the last 3 years she has taken numerous classes through the American Physical Therapy Associations Section on Women’s Health, and is currently pursuing her certifications.
This is a FREE event however love donations are always appreciated to help us continue to provide free support and education to the community.
